New Host + Database Updates
Posted On: 30 Nov 2003, 10:17 PM
|
Pacmeb is back up again thanks to another free host called FrostyHost. Hopefully this will last for a while.
The Mac Database has been updated to include the following new Macs: The iMac 1.25 GHz LCD 20" The Power Mac G5/1.8GHz DP The iBook G4 800 MHz The iBook G4 933 MHz 14" The iBook G4 1 GHz 14"
Also some little software and/or hardware updates have been applied to the eMac, iMac, PowerBook G4 and PowerMac G5.
All the Machines that officially support Mac OS 10.3 have had their supported OS updated. This includes all iMacs & iBooks, Power Mac G3 Blue/White and up, PowerBook G3 (Bronze Keyboard) and up. Older Mac's that are not supported still may be able to run Mac OS 10.3 through a third party program called XPostFacto. |

It's Happening again...
Posted On: 30 Oct 2003, 05:06 PM

| Our current web hosting server is closing down and this site will need to move, the only problem is that I don't have much time on my hand at the moment so there will probably be a down time. In the future the PHP & MySQL scripts that this site uses may not work on the future host (when I find one). |

Forum Updated
Posted On: 28 Aug 2003, 06:03 PM
|
The Pacmeb forum has been upgraded to version 1.2 (the latest version) so there are new functionality's and a redefined interface.
So far there haven't been many people visiting the forum but hopefully once more visitors come to this site, people will actually visit the forum.
There has been a steep decline in visitors attending this site. When this site was on the Ping.net.au server we had over 100 unique visitors per day, but now there are about 5 and they usually are the GoogleBot, IBM Crawler and Myself joined by two other visitors. The reason for this downtime is presumably due to all the downtime this web site has had, which has made regular visitors (if any) to seek for alternative sites. If we are now on a stable sever the traffic should start to increase once again. |
